My name is Joel Minden and I provide psychotherapy, strength and conditioning, sport psychology, and performance nutrition services for individuals, fitness enthusiasts, and athletes–especially dancers, gymnasts, skaters, and other aesthetic athletes. MY CREDENTIALS
I enjoy working in both academic and applied settings. I’ve been a lecturer in the psychology and kinesiology departments at California State University, Chico since 2001, teaching courses in personality and abnormal psychology, sport and exercise psychology, dance, community health promotion, research methods, and statistics. I’m also the Director of the Chico Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, where I provide both traditional psychotherapy for anxiety and depression and performance enhancement services for athletes.
